Meet Our Child Care Staff
Center director, Bachelor’s degree & Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. She has over 20 years experience in childcare.
Taylor Opperman – Director
Taylor has been in Child Care for over 5 years. Taylor has an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Chippewa Valley Technical College and is working towards her
bachelor’s degree in early childhood education administration!
Ms. Alisha – Four-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Alisha graduated in 2020 from UW-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is currently in Grad School working towards her Master of Social Work for Clinical Social work with the end goal of helping youth in need.
Ms. Liz – Three-Year-Old Teacher
Ms. Liz has been in childcare for about 2 years now. Liz also has a handsome little boy
named Andruw as well as a German shorthaired Pointer named Zeus. Liz is very excited to
help each child learn and develop new life skills in her classroom.
Ms. Kaylen – Baby Room Teacher
Ms. Kaylen has been in the childcare field for just about five years and loves working with
children under the age of two! Kaylen also has a cute little puppy named Bentley.
Ms. Amanda – Baby Room Teacher
Ms. Amanda has been in the childcare field for over 15 years! Amanda also did in-home
daycare for six years before coming to The Little School House. Amanda is a loving
grandma to three little boys.
Ms. Elizabeth – Lead Teacher Float
Ms. Elizabeth has also been here since the beginning because her parents are the owners!
Elizabeth helped pick put the building and the name of the center! “Being a part of my
families business gives our little center a home like feel that I appreciate being a part of!” –
Ms. Taylor Blake – School Aged Teacher
Ms. Taylor is currently attending classes at UWEC for Education and has been with us since 2019! Taylor has been a wonderful addition to our team! Taylor is often found babysitting for a few of the center’s children on the weekends!
